When you need advice, you’ve got a Helpline! We need wisdom and God’s got it in His Word. Fifth and sixth graders can find out this month in The LOOP during all of our weekend experiences.

SERIES DESCRIPTION

This series is designed to help students base their character on God’s character by investigating truths found in Proverbs. When students learn to acknowledge God in all their ways like Proverbs 3:5-6 commands, we will begin to see these virtues in the way they live. The specific traits we’ll explore are the end result of life decisions based on God’s Word.

LEADER NOTES

Let’s make this series a pivotal moment in the legacy of your LOOP experience. Let’s make God’s character our character. Let’s make the virtues found in the Bible our own. Let’s show the world how Jesus lived. And let’s start by talking it over with the next generation. Help the students in your group make connections between the wisdom God offers us in His Word with how to reflect His virtues in the way we live our everyday lives. The challenge cards that you’ll send home will help families make the connection between what we’re learning in THE LOOP.

For many students, this may be their last series in the LOOP as they graduate out of sixth grade. Make sure that this final investment you make in their life leaves them with the motivation they need to continue to pursue their relationship with God throughout middle school. Encourage them all to make SWITCH a regular part of their week. Find out what your campus SWITCH schedule will be for their promotion and get those dates in their head. You may consider planning to meet up with them the first time SWITCH welcomes sixth graders into SWITCH just to show your support.
